How the Elevated Threadlift Works
1. Mapping
Dr. Le marks your lift vectors while you are upright — the direction the tissue actually needs to travel, drawn on your face rather than taken from a template. This is the step that decides the result.
2. Placement
After local anesthetic at each entry point, threads are passed through a fine cannula along the mapped path, then drawn up and set. Immediate lift is visible on the table. Most patients describe pressure and tugging rather than pain.
3. Choosing Your Thread
Threads are not interchangeable. The material sets how long the support lasts and how often you return: PDO (polydioxanone) gives roughly 6 to 9 months, PCL (polycaprolactone) 12 to 18 months, and PLA (polylactic acid) 18 to 24 months. Yours is chosen at consultation based on the area, your tissue and your goals.
The Elevated Threadlift or Elevated Lift+?
Both lift without surgery. They solve different problems, and the honest answer depends on what your face is actually doing.

What to Expect During the Procedure
Before the Procedure

Is a threadlift the same as a facelift?
No. A facelift removes and repositions tissue surgically and lasts many years. A threadlift repositions tissue with dissolvable sutures, with far less downtime and a shorter lifespan. If your laxity is beyond what threads can hold, Dr. Le will tell you plainly and refer you.
How is this different from Elevated Lift+?
The Elevated Threadlift is threads alone. Elevated Lift+ adds Endolift to tighten the skin envelope from beneath, plus filler and neuromodulator to rebuild and hold the result. If your skin quality and volume are still good, threads alone may be all you need.
Will anyone be able to see or feel the threads?
The threads sit beneath the skin and are not visible. Some patients feel slight tightness or a faint line when opening wide during the first couple of weeks; this settles as the tissue integrates.
How long before I see the result?
The lift is visible immediately. Swelling can mask it for several days, and the collagen response continues to build over roughly eight to twelve weeks.
How much does it hurt?
Local anesthetic is used at every entry point. Most patients describe pressure and tugging rather than pain, with soreness for a few days afterward.
What are the risks?
Bruising, swelling, tenderness, temporary dimpling or puckering, asymmetry, and rarely infection or thread extrusion. Every risk is reviewed with you in person before you consent.
